Your wedding is a fantastic celebration of you and your lives together, so it should be completely personalised however you want right? Include loved ones, visual or symbolic elements, incorporate your interests or even dancing down the aisle!

I love hearing how couples got together! Getting to know you individually, as well as a couple, learning your traits, shared experiences and funny stories all help me to write a beautifully bespoke script that you and your guests will remember forever.

How does it all work?

01. Say hi

Let’s have a chat about all thing’s ceremony. I’d love to meet in person, maybe at your favourite coffee shop (cake is a given) so we can get an impression and understanding of each other, or if you would prefer, we can meet on zoom- whatever you are most comfortable with.

02. You want me as your celebrant- great news!

We can discuss further details and I’ll send over a booking form and contract. There is a 50% deposit to secure your chosen date, after which it is locked in and ready to go.

03. Planning call

Three months before your date, you will receive a questionnaire for each of you to complete separately, the answers to which will allow me to gauge the kind of ceremony you want. Upon receipt of this, we can book in a planning call to discuss the content in more detail and logistics for the day.

04. First draft of your script

Six weeks from your day, I will send over the first draft of your ceremony script so you can read through, make sure you’re happy and send over any amendments. Your script is exactly that, so any changes, let me know. It will then need to be returned within two weeks, so the changes can be added and made perfect for your special day.

05. Rehearsal

If you would like a run through, this will be at your venue or unique ceremony location. We will walk through the logistics, including music, places during the ceremony etc so you can relax, safely in the knowledge that everything and everyone is ready to go and concentrate on getting excited for the big day.

06. Your tailormade day has finally arrived!

I will arrive at the venue an hour before the start time to ensure everything is set up as planned. After I have delivered the ceremony of your dreams, you will receive keepsake certificates and copies of your ceremony script, vows, readings and any ritual resources you may have used to forever remind you of your special day.

Legal Wedding Process

Celebrants in England and Wales are not currently recognised by law, so you will need to go to your local registry office to complete the legal part of your marriage. It costs around £48 and you can withhold your vows and rings and save the them for your bespoke wedding ceremony with Moon & Stars.
