I’m Laura, lover of dance, chocolate and all things arty. An outgoing, fully accredited Independent Wedding Celebrant based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. I travel and deliver ceremonies across Beds, Herts, Bucks and Northamptonshire, but happy to go further afield.
A little bit about me
Before founding Moon & Stars, I was a school teacher for nine years, so I’m an excellent juggler of tasks and communicating with people (not just the little ones!) not to mention used to presenting to a crowd. Most importantly though, I absolutely thrive off energy and excitement of being around others.
I’m a true believer in doing things in life that make you happy and lift you up, because it’s trite but true…you only live ONCE- so you have to make the big moments count!
My celebrant style
The easiest way to describe it, is original, memorable and fun. I strongly believe that everything and everyone in your ceremony is there because it holds special meaning to you. This is one of the BEST days of your life, so you should soak up every moment! I will make you feel completely relaxed, excited and ready to walk (or dance) down the aisle.
It feels great to deliver such a variety of ceremonies, but one thing they will all have in common is a laid back feel with a healthy injection of humour. Your loved ones, friends and family will think your ceremony were written by a friend.
